Internal & External signage
When Parkwood Leisure, the pool complex operators and owners, approached Morgan Signs they were looking for a unique and versatile way-finding system to allow easy navigation of the complex for the tens of thousands of monthly visitors.
The internal sign signage consisted of a modern flame polished acrylic system with a reversed digital print in blue, backed up with a sparkly etched glass film and an additional flat cut yellow ‘wave’ in acrylic to complement the pool’s corporate identity. Modular aluminium post and panel systems were chosen for the external signage.
The whole package was designed to produce a refined health club ambience whilst coming in on budget.
The International Pool has set the standard for the type and quality of future facilities, not only for Cardiff but for the whole of the country. Located in the “Cardiff International Sports village” anyone visiting the pool is bound to come back for the sheer fun it has to offer to both children and adults alike.
The complex boasts a 50m Olympic standard swimming pool, spectator seating area for 1000, a leisure pool with flumes & lazy river, 110 station gym, health suite, Café Bar & Crèche.
